ConnectSolutions customers using CoSo TeamUP, make a majority of phone calls from soft clients on ther PCs.
In data from the month of May, a full 78% of calls were made using a PC-based Microsoft Lync client. The next most common connector was via hardware device, such as a Lync-optimized desk phone. Mac users with a Lync Client made up just 3% of calls, and 1% were made using a Lync Mobile App.
These stats may be explained by the fact that many TeamUP customers have an employee base that work remotely. This ranges from companies that have work from home policies, to others where a large number of employees work remotely 5-days a week.
Additionally, TeamUP is used by organizations that perform consulting services and often work out of the offices of their clients. TeamUP users can make and recieve calls from their laptop soft clients, with a single phone number and login, whether they are at headquarter, a home office, or on-site at a client office.
